In these days when the doors of our churches are closed, the Monastery of San Salvador del Monte Irago wants to keep you in our prayers.
Nothing human is alien to God. That is why He wanted to become incarnate and one of us. Moreover, out of pure love he gave himself up to death. And out of pure love for all of us, God the Father has raised him from the dead. It is Easter, the passage from death to life. He who has suffered death on the cross now lives forever among us. May his particular pilgrimage comfort us all and fill us with peace and hope in this time of trial.
Almighty and eternal God, our refuge in every danger, to whom we turn in our distress; in faith we pray look with compassion on the afflicted, grant eternal rest to the dead, comfort to mourners ,healing to the sick, peace to the dying, strength to healthcare workers, wisdom to our leaders and the courage to reach out to all in love, so that together we may give glory to your holy name.Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,God, for ever and ever.
